The client is seeking an experienced Integration Developer with a strong background in MIRTH Connect and HL7 healthcare messaging standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining healthcare data integrations using MIRTH, along with a good understanding of APIs and preferably MuleSoft.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy HL7 interfaces using MIRTH Connect to support clinical and operational workflows.
2. Build and support data integration solutions across various healthcare systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and scalability.
3. Translate healthcare integration requirements into technical solutions using HL7 v2.x, CCD/CDA, FHIR, and other standards.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot existing interfaces and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders including IT teams, third-party vendors, and clinical operations to gather requirements and implement solutions.
6. Develop and expose RESTful APIs for secure and scalable data exchange.
7. Document interface designs, configurations, and workflows.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience with MIRTH Connect (Now known as NextGen Connect).
2. Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x standards and experience in building inbound and outbound interfaces.
3. Experience with other healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, CCD/CDA, etc.
4. Proficiency in scripting and transformations (JavaScript, XSLT, etc.) within MIRTH.
5. Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs for healthcare data exchange.
6. Familiarity with integration tools such as MuleSoft is a strong plus.
7. Experience with EMR/EHR systems and healthcare data formats.
8. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Healthcare IT background with knowledge of workflows in clinical systems.
2. Experience with cloud platforms or hybrid integration environments.
3. Knowledge of security standards such as HIPAA, OAuth, and TLS in healthcare integration.
