Are you an Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) with a Secret Clearance seeking a new opportunity? If so, this job is for you! Our systems engineering team works closely with the Naval Undersea Warfare - Newport Division to help design and develop the next-generation of undersea combat platforms and ensuring they function in a cyber-contested environment. We are looking to add an ISSE to support work on the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical System (SWFTS) program.

As An Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE), You Will

A week in the life of a Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) will consist of:

• Attend various architectural, design, and requirements meetings and working groups
• Generate and review technical documents including requirements specifications, system diagrams, and test procedures
• Execute V&V testing according to program and system requirements
• Design, develop, and test new capabilities and architectures for the SWFTS family of subsystems
• Ensure current designs are validated and meet program and system requirements
• Provide technical direction for SWFTS participating subsystems

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The hourly range for this position is $60,000 - 100,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements

• BS in an engineering discipline, computer science, or relevant program
• 2-4 years of experience in systems engineering
• Active SECRET or higher clearance
• Technical familiarity with Linux, Windows, computer networking, and communication protocols
• Demonstrated ability with systems engineering competencies including requirements engineering, V&V testing, and design packages
• Prior experience in SWFTS systems is HIGHLY DESIRED
