Responsible for performing various Journeyman-level tasks in maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical power and control systems for conveying and processing in the construction aggregates industry.

Technical Assistance (25%)

• Support the Regional Operations and Electrical Engineering department in providing technical assistance to all locations as requested. Competent in use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and other electronic instruments for field troubleshooting.
• Perform other related duties as needed

Trouble Shooting Power / Control wiring & electrical repair (25%)

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems including power, controls, and motors
• Document changes to field drawings.

Preventative Maintenance (30%)

• Maintain electrical spare parts and supplies inventory on service vehicle and in regional storage locations
• Inspect wiring and equipment for proper installation.
• Administer electrical preventive maintenance programs

Electrical Construction & Supervision (20%)

• Manage small electrical jobs.
• Schedule and monitor electrical contractors on minor projects and maintenance work.
