Job Description:

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Join Project Kuiper and support the delivery of satellite material to our engineers as we create and deploy satellites to help bring internet to under-served populations!

Key job responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently receive inbound material for both production and development efforts.
  • Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive material
  • Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems.
  • Efficiently move material between sites both physically and virtually.
  • Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.


Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

A day in the life
A day in the life of a Inbound Material Coordinator includes, but is not limited to, offloading materials from trucks, receiving material against purchase orders, moving material between sites and locations internally, and communicating with internal customers to deliver results.
 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
  • 1 year experience using MS Excel to navigate and interpret data
  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds
  • Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Be comfortable working with high levels of ambiguity
  • ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,480/year in our lowest geographic market up to $70,720/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
