COSCO Shipping Lines (North America) Inc is looking for an enthusiastic individual with superb communication skills to provide arrival notice and superior customer service to ocean import customers.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Complete vessel process
- FCN’s, Diversions and Piece Count Discrepancies
- Create Third Party Invoices for services performed on our customer’s behalf
- Monitor and maintain VIP Accounts
- Handle email and fax correspondence with internal and external customers
- Maintain and monitor customs related issues
- Ensure EDI is transmitted to the terminal and proper releases are in place
- Monitor IPI rail cargo to ensure timely movement inland
- Monitor and reconcile discharge reports against import loads
- Monitor overdue containers and send notices to our customers
- Notify customers of required exams
- Liaison between the terminals and our internal and external customers
- Add route segment for containers moving to an off-dock facility for exam
Qualifications:
- At least 1 – 3 years of relevant customer service experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to build and develop relationships to identify problems and assess needs
- High level of competency in PC use and proficiency with MS Office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
