Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re looking for an HR Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our vision to connect America. This individual will assist Human Resources in areas such as employee on-boarding, employment documentation, and recruitment support. This is a great opportunity to learn and gain experience in multiple areas of HR with potential for growth as you take on greater responsibilities. This position will be remote, but the candidate should reside in the Western region of the US for logistical and operational purposes.

Pay range: $20 - $25 per hour

What you will do...

 

  • Assist in all HR duties such as on-boarding, maintaining records, and support of the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate scheduling of interviews with candidates and internal hiring managers.
  • Support talent acquisition with due-diligence processes, including pre employment screening and background check administration.
  • Update candidate status in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) as well as supporting the applicant tracking system by assisting with job postings.
  • Perform data entry into our HR Information System to accurately maintain confidential information.
  • Participate in projects in multiple areas of Human Resources as needed.

Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field experience.
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • You have outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • You have strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You have proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience working with Google Suite is preferred.
