The Opportunity

Reporting to the AVP, People Strategy and Planning, the Human Resources Project Manager manages and ensures efficient implementation of important strategic, university-wide human resources projects. You will collaborate with team members across all HR teams and partners to ensure projects are planned and completed upon.

You'll Get To:

Guide implementation of multiple, complex project plans typically requiring a high degree of confidentiality, human resources expertise, and university-wide visibility to achieve strategic goals.
Plan and coordinate activities for complex projects to accomplish goals.
Provide end-to-end management in the project life-cycle (initiation, executing, and close), and providing status updates and escalations to main HR partners and business leaders.
Contribute to the success of project by applying expertise in Human Resources teams which may include: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Compensation, HRIS, Shared Services, Engagement & Inclusion, and Benefits.
Consult with partners to clarify project approach, scope, budget and timeline.
Collaborate with senior leadership and major partners to establish strategic plans and goals for projects.
Advise and resolve complex issues ensuring the appropriate teams are brought into the discussion.
Prepare executive summaries on project updates and leadership team presentations on strategic project updates.
Facilitate collaboration and brain storm sessions to create solutions.
Recommend communication plans, talking points, and coordinate necessary training programs.

What we're Looking For:

Five years of human resources expertise in two or more of the following teams: talent acquisition, talent development, compensation, benefits, HRIS, diversity & inclusion, and shared services
Academic Degree(s) and/ areas of study: Bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated ability leading large-scale projects to success with project management methodologies experience.
Experience providing clarity amongst project partners.
Collaboration across multiple teams.
Experience leading large-scale change management projects
