- Motivated Individual who will lead the Human Resource department in people-related management, strategy, and policy. This role will work closely with the Leadership Team to develop initiatives to retain and attract top talent. The HR Manager will create performance management that develops, maintains, mentors, and drives employees to reach optimal performance within the organization. They will collaborate with the HR Team along with peer groups to implement and align people-related matters that impact our client’s business and culture. They will also engage in and be the point of contact for all HR related administrative services. In addition, this role is responsible for overseeing the safety coordinator and maintaining OSHA compliance.
Responsibilities:
- HR Operations
- Oversee and maintain our HR and payroll processing portal (Sentric HR) while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Evaluate and continuously improve HR policy and procedures (maintaining relevance with current trends and best practices) that aligns with current employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement a process to track employee performance data and ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
- Manage insurance policies including workers comp, general liability, property & cyber insurance, benefit plans, etc.
- Oversee safety and training programs to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Track and report KPI’s to the Leadership Team to understand labor changes within the company and industry, i.e., turnover rate, termination rate, new hires, training, etc.
- Ownership of the quarterly/annual employee review process, goal setting, follow-through, and documentation
- Liaison between management and employees when necessary, including disputes.
- Assist managers in creating, implementing, and maintaining Performance Improvement Plans along with termination responsibilities.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining job descriptions for entire organization.

- Oversee the development and follow through of training programs to enhance employee professional development.
- Collaborate with cross functional groups to develop and implement employee retention plans, including employee engagement initiatives and encouraging a positive work culture.
- Advisor to Leadership Team
- Develop a short-term (3 year) HR plan that supports our client’s objectives and growth.
- Strategy for potential acquisitions – specifically the ability to review potential acquisitions to understand comp plans, pay, etc. In addition, provide insight into issues, potential cost savings, consolidation of duties, structure of acquisition and new or additional reporting due to location.
- Assist with the organizational structure as growth occurs.
- Become the cheerleader of our company’s culture/core values and assist with change as the company grows, while implementing the Leadership Team’s vision
- Mentor Leadership Team through situational issues with maturity and confidentiality

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, master’s degree preferred. At least five years of human resource management experience required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and navigating cloud-based software.
