Position Title: Home Delivery Assistant (Newspaper Delivery)
Status: Full-time (30+ hours)
Salary: $18/hr. + .62/mile - $500 bonus after 90 days of employment
Hours: Must be available Sunday - Friday, approx. 1 am - 7 am (30+ hours/week).
About this role: This position serves to assist with newspaper delivery, complaints, and customer service supporting distribution centers and district managers.
What you'll do:
- Deliver newspaper routes when contractors are unavailable using a personal vehicle
- Prepare and submit a weekly log of hours and mileage
- Assist with the delivery of special products
- Assist District Manager with customer and/or carrier calls as well as daily office tasks
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll contribute to our team:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license, personal reliable vehicle, and proof of car insurance
- Ability to read a street map/GPS
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be willing to work in all weather conditions
