Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with Clients HW team and come up with Project Requirements and High level HW architecture for an automotive project
• Knowledge transfer between the client and offshore team.
• Should act as SPOC for Client team members for any communication to and from offshore team
• Do design reviews with Client and independently
• Communicate timelines, status etc back and forth from the offshore team to the client and vice versa
• Work directly with Client’s cross functional teams like Thermal, Mechanical and Software
• Hands-on testing and Board bring up
• Support System testing
• Coordinate reviews with customer and Engineering team

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge in complex board design
• Hardware design experience with 16/32-bit Microcontrollers and Processors (SoC) from vendors like Qualcomm, TI, STM, NXP etc
• Automotive Domain experience and ISO26262 compliance is required
• Experience in working in designs involving high-speed Interfaces like, 10G/1G Ethernet, PCIe etc
• Memory Interfaces like DDR3/4/5, NAND, EMMC, NOR etc
• Knowledge of Thermal Analysis, Signal Integrity/Power Integrity
• Experience in Board Bring Up, Hardware validation
• Understanding of EMI EMC standards
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams like Software/Mechanical etc
• Tool Exposure: Orcad, Allegro
