The Facilities Maintenance role: As a Handyman at Berwick Estates, a 36-bed assisted living facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our senior residents. Your responsibilities will include performing routine general building maintenance and property maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and coordinating vendor projects.

• Ability to make judgment calls regarding general maintenance tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• General maintenance/handyman knowledge, such as light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and furniture assembly

This position is full-time with 40 guaranteed hours each week working Mon-Fri with travel to our Biddeford assisted living weekly. Ability to be a part-time position without travel.

Requirements
 

• A high school diploma/GED
• At least 3 years of experience in general maintenance is required
• Must be 18 years of age or over
