The Handyman will perform all routine and preventative maintenance in order to maintain the physical integrity of the property.

Some Key Responsibilities: • Provide routine and preventative maintenance. • Complete the work orders initiated during shift. • Basic Electrical - light switches, outlets, breaker repairs, installation of light fixtures, bulb replacements, etc. • Basic Plumbing - Clogged sinks, tub, or toilets, change faucets, washers, shower fixtures, toilet bowls including wax rings, • Installation of kitchen/sinks and faucets, Installation, and connection of gas stove, change ignitors.
 

• Carpentry- Installation of kitchen cabinets, Installation of bathroom vanity, Patch, Sand - Prep and Painting, Installation of VCT floor tiles, Installation of bathroom wall tiles. Qualifications: • Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and locks. • Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with the residents and community staff. • Familiarity with various power and non-power tools.
