The Role

We’re seeking an ambitious, creative, data-driven Growth Marketing Strategist to own the future of our employer brand and recruiting marketing.

This role combines storytelling, recruiting strategy, content creation, branding, analytics, community engagement, and growth marketing into one mission:

You’ll work directly alongside executive leadership to build a recruiting engine that consistently attracts exceptional teammates, strengthens employee engagement, and expands our reputation throughout every market we serve.

Your Mission1. Build a World-Class Employer Brand

Develop messaging that clearly communicates who Big Inc. is, what we believe, and why exceptional people choose to build careers here.

2. Create a Recruiting Engine

Build sustainable recruiting systems that generate qualified applicants year-round through organic marketing, strategic campaigns, referrals, and community engagement.

3. Multiply Our Marketing Impact

Take our existing marketing strategy and increase its effectiveness by 10X through precision messaging, compelling storytelling, creative campaigns, and continuous optimization.

4. Turn Employees Into Brand Ambassadors

Help every teammate understand how to promote the Big Inc. brand through authentic storytelling, employee advocacy, referrals, and internal communications.

5. Grow the Business Through Marketing

Increase awareness among future employees, strategic partners, communities, and prospective acquisition opportunities while helping support our growth from $30M to $100M.

ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Brand Development (50%)

  1. Develop and execute multi-platform marketing campaigns.
  2. Produce professional photo and video content.
  3. Manage all social media platforms.
  4. Build recruiting funnels and marketing campaigns.
  5. Maintain and improve the company website.
  6. Manage email marketing campaigns.
  7. Create graphics and recruiting materials.
  8. Develop employee testimonial campaigns.
  9. Analyze campaign performance and optimize continuously.

Community & Internal Marketing (20%)

  1. Represent Big Inc. at career fairs.
  2. Build community partnerships.
  3. Develop employee communication campaigns.
  4. Create internal branding initiatives.
  5. Teach leaders and employees how to become brand ambassadors.
  6. Strengthen company culture through consistent messaging.

Recruiting Support (30%)

  1. Recruit during periods of hiring demand.
  2. Build talent pipelines before they’re needed.
  3. Coordinate recruiting campaigns.
  4. Manage applicant communication.
  5. Improve candidate experience.
  6. Support hiring managers with recruiting strategy.

What You Bring

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred).
  2. Experience building brands through digital marketing.
  3. Strong content creation skills (photo, video, copywriting).
  4. Proven ability to grow audiences organically.
  5. Strong analytical mindset with experience using marketing data to make decisions.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Experience recruiting or employer branding is highly preferred.
  8. Comfortable working directly with executive leadership.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-growing organization.
