Hooked on Local (HOL, Inc.) | Remote + Field | Equity-Based


Hooked on Local (HOL) is entering final modernization and preparing for initial market deployment.

We are building a platform that connects digital engagement to the physical world—where real decisions happen. HOL turns local businesses into access points for discovery, advertising, events, and community information through simple, voluntary interaction.

This is not a traditional marketing role.

This is about launching real markets, not running campaigns.



The Role

We are looking for a Growth / Market Launch Lead to drive the first wave of real-world adoption.

You will be responsible for turning HOL from a platform into a live, local network—by onboarding businesses, placing QR access points, and creating real usage in pilot communities.



What You’ll Do

• Identify and launch initial pilot markets (towns / neighborhoods)

• Onboard local businesses (retail, restaurants, service providers)

• Drive placement of QR access points in real-world locations

• Create simple, repeatable onboarding and activation processes

• Work directly with the founder to refine go-to-market strategy

• Help define early revenue flow (merchant + advertiser participation)

• Generate early traction and proof of usage



What This Role Is Not

• Not managing social media campaigns

• Not running paid ads

• Not optimizing funnels

This is about real-world execution and local activation.



What We’re Looking For

• Experience launching products, markets, or local initiatives

• Strong ability to engage directly with businesses and communities

• Comfortable operating without a predefined playbook

• Builder mindset — you figure things out and make them work

• Ability to move quickly and adapt in early-stage environments

Backgrounds that can fit:

• Startup operators

• Local business builders

• Community organizers with execution skills

• Growth leaders with real-world activation experience



Compensation

Equity-based (founding level), tied to measurable results and milestones.

No salary component until funding is completed.
