We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a remote position, so the candidate must have access to a reliable internet connection and a productive work environment. Candidates must live in the northern region of Puerto Rico, preferably near the San Juan metropolitan area, as the role requires attending in-person meetings, events, and content creation sessions. The ideal candidate should be a team player with strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure. Availability to work extra hours, including nights and weekends, is required.
Responsibilities
- Create graphic designs and digital adaptations aligned with each brand's values for various media platforms
- Use appropriate colors and compositions for each design
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily for different clients (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Attend events to capture photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes content for social media use
- Suggest and implement new features to increase brand awareness, such as promotions and contests
- Ensure graphics are visually appealing and aligned with brand values
- Be familiar with design software and technologies (such as Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Have a strong eye for aesthetics and detail
- Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Stay current with industry software and practices, show creativity, and uphold a strong work ethic by meeting deadlines
- Translate client requirements into effective work by applying design best practices and making revisions based on feedback
- Stay updated with the latest design tools, trends, and technologies in the industry
- Be available to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Excellent creative writing skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Buffer, and MailChimp
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
