Summary

Virnig Manufacturing is seeking a Graphic Designer who has the passion for creativity, quality and innovation. This person would be directly involved in the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives across various platforms.

A majority of your design work will focus on print and digital design, but you will create and influence design for a variety of mediums. This includes materials such as catalogs, brochures, banners, digital ads, spec sheets & product manuals. This role will have significant influence on the overall brand image of the company. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas and take projects from beginning to end with minimal oversight.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage brand consistency
• Develop a wide range of creative pieces from inception to production that include product catalog & spec sheets, brochures, banners, flyers, signage, etc.
• Responsible for design and maintenance of all product labeling.
• Internal brand signage.
• Maintain print literature levels and reorder when needed.
• Create 3D images from engineered drawings.
• Digital design and social media image creation.
• Photography skills in lighting, capturing and editing images both product and action shots.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Confidently prioritize, manage and multitask between different projects and deadlines.
• Demonstrate ability to follow-up on assignments.
• Ability to work independently and part of a collaborative team.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Products (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Adobe Dimension is a plus
• Digital/social media and web design experience is a plus
• Capable of following directions and following through on projects.
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas and issues (verbal and written) to co-workers and supervisor.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing/machinery industry is helpful.
