Responsibilities

• Increasing volume and tempo of requirements from FEMA senior leadership and external stakeholders have created an urgent need to:
• Establish an analytic framework capable of focusing on multiple reporting and analytics priorities stemming directly from this mission; and
• Provide support to the Claims Office for the development of reports, dashboards and descriptive statistics to help inform on the status of claims processing, expenditures, and Claims Office performance.
• Visually enhance internal and external-facing work products (e.g., reports, dashboards, operating documents, etc.) to facilitate storytelling and comprehension in programmatic reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years graphic design experience
• In-depth knowledge of Section 508 compliance and other government standards
• Experience working with Tableau reports
• Can commit to 25% travel (est. 4 trips) to Santa Fe, NM
• Ability to pass a DHS FEMA suitability investigation (Public Trust)
• Existing DHS or FEMA Entry on Duty suitability
• Experience working in insurance or national security related field
• Experience in federal government consulting
• Familiarity with Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA programs or initiatives
