As a key member of our accounting team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our financial landscape, ensuring precision in our general ledger, and aiding strategic decision-making that supports our growth.
This is a permanent, full-time, remote position with a salary of $60K to $80K.

Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, including adjusting entries and financial statements

Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and classified

Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to all policies, principles, standards, and regulations

Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations

Manage Fixed Assets

Property, sales and use tax and franchise tax returns

Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of transactions and resolve any discrepancies
-
Bachelor’s in Accounting or commensurate experience
-
3+ years proven corporate general ledger accounting experience
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards

HRIS systems and payroll processing experience

Strong proficiency with Excel and databases

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
-
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization
