Overview:

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and DevOps practices to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security through best practices and automation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Ensure security compliance by implementing IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption strategies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and incident response tools.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance cloud reliability and scalability.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong expertise in GCP networking, IAM, Compute, and Storage services.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of big data and analytics services on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62.69 - $68.26 per hour
