What You'll Do

Aristocrat is looking for a Software Test Automation Manager to join our team. We are creating Aristocrat’s next generation game development kit (NG-GDK). The NG-GDK will encompass software libraries, tools, plugins, and process that enable amazing and engaging games. We are using the latest game engine and cloud enabled technologies to enable studios around the world to deliver casual and free to play games to a broad range of platforms.

The next generation team is new, small, and focused, which means a big opportunity to influence the way games are designed and developed to take Aristocrat to the next level.

What We're Looking For

Job Requirements (What you’ll do)

• You will be responsible for all aspects of managerial responsibilities by managing a team of SDET engineers for day-to-day NG-GDK testing activities

• Drive staffing and recruitment effort by hiring engineers to grow our agile development engineering culture

• Design, develop and maintain automation framework for frontend system

• Keep up to date with developments in the latest engineering and technology, including attendance at conferences, seminars, and meet-ups

• Work with architects and engineering teams to improve and automate test strategies

• Create optimal Test Plans for features

• Implement test cases, evaluate results, prepare test data and design functional tests in required framework

• Input and update highly detailed issues into JIRA

• Work closely with local and remote software development teams and QA to refine and triage bugs

• Ensure the quality and performance of the NG-GDK

• Collaborate with Engineers and Production on risks for the NG-GDK

• Share ideas and insights into the future features of the NG-GDK

• Mentor less senior QA testers in testing and documentation best practices

• Help monitor CI/CD pipelines and releases

Qualifications (What we’re looking for)

• Passion for mobile games & the social casino category

• BA Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years’ experience in automation testing and frameworks

• 3+ years’ experience in Test Engineering Management or Team Lead capacity

• Extensive experience with Nunit Test Framework

• Experience using Unity

• Experience using Unity Test Framework

• Experience using JIRA, Confluence

• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes

• Experience testing on web and mobile devices

• Experience with social casino game testing

• This is an onsite hybrid role, in either Austin, TX, Las Vegas, NV or Seattle, WA.

Pay Range
$117,369-$217,971

Pay Rate Type :Salary

At Aristocrat, our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
