Brighton Solutions is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative, agile development team working on enterprise-level applications. This hybrid position, based in Tinley Park, IL, offers the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple digital platforms used by professional users nationwide.

In this role, you'll contribute across the stack-designing and building scalable solutions using PHP 7+, VueJS 2+, MySQL, and modern front-end tools. You'll also work with Docker, GitHub/Gitflow, and automated testing frameworks to ensure performance and security.

What You'll Do

1. Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack web applications and APIs
2. Write clean, well-structured, and testable code using OO and MVC principles
3. Participate in Agile development (sprints, standups, retrospectives)
4. Collaborate with team members on design, architecture, and code reviews
5. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues using system tools
6. Ensure application compatibility across devices and browsers
7. Contribute to technical documentation and process improvement

What You Bring

1. 5+ years of web development experience (emphasis on web apps and APIs)
2. Strong skills in PHP, VueJS, HTML/JavaScript, XML, and JSON
3. Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization
4. Familiarity with Docker, version control, and automated testing
5. Strong problem-solving and time management skills
6. Ability to work independently and contribute to team success

This position is based in Tinley Park, IL and typically requires 3 days onsite per week. Candidates must have the ability to work productively from home on remote days.
