Must Haves

1. 7-10yrs min. experience as a Full Stack Developer (ideally looking for a 50/50 front/back split)
2. Senior: experience mentoring/coaching junior-intermediate developers
3. Lead: experience leading/managing a team of 2-3min
4. Tech Stack: JavaScript, Python, SQL
5. python backend (primarily SQLAlchemy and flask)
6. JavaScript modern front end framework (react)
7. SQL database (basics in queries, indices and data modeling)
8. Bachelors Degree
9. Hospital experience, someone who has been apart of building applications/software products that interoperate with Hospital EMR (Epic) systems
10. Open to considering similar backgrounds in the Healthcare industry (ex: Pharmaceutical, BioTech, Clinical Research, etc)

We are hiring for a leading Hospital system in the NE US. They have an innovation center with the primary goal of improving the operations of the health system and care of patients, and successful applications/products will be commercialized. The Senior FS Dev position involves studying data sources through user interviews, defining and validating data objects, and identifying their relationships. Responsibilities include planning data integration by developing common definitions, designing keys, and establishing specifications. The candidate will assess data models and middleware tools for integration and transformation. Additionally, the role requires developing project scope, identifying integration challenges, forecasting resource needs, and setting delivery timelines, as well as mentoring junior-intermediate developers. The Lead is responsible for the technical development and operational management of a digital applications team for the innovation center. Core responsibilities involve a blend of technical expertise and leadership, software developer management, and software release planning, timeline management, and stakeholder management. Serve as a primary point of contact for the delivery of assigned digital assets. This is a dual role - candidate must be capable of handling both hands-on development, as well as leadership responsibilities.
