Senior / Staff / Principal Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Leaning) - Hybrid (New York) | 🌍 Open to remote (US & Canada) - $185,000 – $300,000 + bonus + RSUs

We’re partnering with a high-growth, AI-driven technology company transforming how legal and financial professionals analyse complex transactions. This platform uses advanced machine learning and large-scale data to turn lengthy, unstructured deal documents into actionable insights — helping users benchmark terms, identify risks, and make faster, data-driven decisions.

Following a major acquisition by a global enterprise leader, the business is scaling rapidly and investing heavily in engineering talent. This is a backend-leaning full stack position focused on building the core systems that power a data-intensive AI platform.

You’ll:

1. Build scalable backend services and APIs
2. Develop data processing pipelines for large document datasets
3. Design system architecture and API contracts
4. Integrate with ML systems and internal tools
5. Optimise performance for high-volume workloads
6. Contribute to frontend features (TypeScript/React) when needed
7. Improve CI/CD and developer experience

What We’re Looking For

1. 4+ years full-stack experience (backend-focused)
2. Strong backend skills (Python, Node.js, or Go)
3. Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and system design
4. Experience with cloud (AWS/GCP) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
5. Frontend experience with TypeScript + React
6. Strong ownership mindset and ability to move quickly in fast-paced environments
