We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong back-end development experience to join a growing technology team in Chicago. This role will focus primarily on backend architecture and development while also contributing to modern front-end applications. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups, SaaS companies, or agencies, and enjoys building scalable software solutions across multiple technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with a focus on backend architecture
2. Build and support APIs and backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions
4. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues
5. Contribute to front-end development using modern frameworks when needed

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or Architect
2. Strong backend experience with technologies such as PHP (Laravel), Go, Node.js, or Python
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Next.js
4. Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
6. Experience with Git or other version control systems
7. Understanding of operating systems and scripting (Bash or similar)
8. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
9. Experience working in agency, startup, or fast-paced development environments

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
3. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
4. Exposure to mobile or desktop application development
5. Experience working with video content or media platforms
6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
