Role Impact
Build core systems powering hospital operations at enterprise scale. Work directly affects thousands of clinicians across entire health systems. Close collaboration with founders, ops team, and customers on high-impact features end-to-end.
Key Technical Challenges
• Real-time workforce intelligence - Event-driven infrastructure reconciling high-latency, multi-source healthcare data into coherent operational model
• Forecasting & planning - Systems predicting patient volume/staffing demand from historical trends + real-time patient movement
• Optimization & recommendations - Decision layer producing actionable staffing recommendations under tight constraints
• Autonomous scheduling - Prompt-driven automation replacing brittle manual nurse scheduling workflows
Tech Stack
TypeScript, React, Vite, tRPC, Effect, Drizzle | Nice-to-have: Postgres, Supabase
Requirements (All Must-Haves)
• 3+ years shipping production software in product-focused engineering role (ideally fast-moving SaaS)
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend development
• Proven ability building/scaling user-facing products that are fast, intuitive, reliable
• Experience designing extensible backend systems supporting multiple products/workflows
• Track record of ownership - ambiguous problems from idea to production with user feedback iteration
• Comfort in early-stage environments - move quickly, unblock yourself, focus amid limited structure/high stakes
