Full charge bookkeeper/accountant, bilingual-Spanish, a plus. Experience working in a law firm a must. 40-hour work week. Accounting degree a must. 5 plus years’ experience. Expert with Quick Books and a complete understaning of Trust Accounting. Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsible for all accounting through general ledger, billing, trust accounting, A/P, A/R, bank deposits, collections, and bank reconciliation.
Prepare payroll for outside company and monitor all employee record keeping including raise reviews and bonuses
Prepare client billing through final statements.
Handle all vendors, and agents regarding renewals including licenses, dues, insurance, profit sharing plan, etc. Review all costs generated by the firm and focus on savings
Report directly to the COO daily.
