Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Frontend UX/UI Designer specialized in E-commerce to join our vibrant team in an in-person role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging, user-centered online shopping experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to design intuitive interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes that align with our brand vision and technical architecture. Your expertise will help shape the future of our digital storefronts by blending cutting-edge web design principles with seamless functionality.

Duties

  1. Develop compelling and responsive web interfaces for e-commerce platforms using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap to ensure optimal user experience across devices.
  2. Create detailed wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize new features and enhancements, utilizing tools like Visual Studio and Trello.
  3. Collaborate with back-end developers to implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL queries, and web services ensuring smooth integration of front-end components with server-side logic built on frameworks like Django, Spring Framework, or ASP.NET.
  4. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback; iterate designs based on insights to improve UX and SEO performance.
  5. Maintain consistency in visual design by applying SCSS/SASS styling techniques while adhering to accessibility standards and responsive web design principles.
  6. Support deployment processes by working within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub; manage version control with Git or SVN.
  7. Stay updated on the latest trends in web development, UX/UI best practices, and e-commerce innovations to continuously elevate the user experience.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce websites or web applications emphasizing UX/UI design.
  2. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (TypeScript preferred), and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
  3. Familiarity with back-end technologies including PHP, Python (Django), Java (Spring Framework), or C# (.NET) for seamless collaboration with full-stack teams.
  4. Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB or SQLite; understanding of SQL queries is essential.
  5. Knowledge of web services including RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL; experience integrating third-party platforms like WordPress or Drupal is a plus.
  6. Skilled in wireframing tools and web design software such as Visual Studio; comfortable working within Agile methodologies using Jira or Trello for project management.
  7. Understanding of DevOps practices including Docker containers, Ansible automation, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, AWS cloud services, and system architecture concepts.
  8. Strong grasp of SEO best practices, responsive web design techniques, and accessibility standards to optimize user engagement.
  9. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving; ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.

Pay: $32.63 - $39.30 per hour
