Responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing layouts and designs that align with brand standards.
- Implement interactive features and animations using motion graphics techniques.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring efficient performance.
- Conduct usability testing and user research to gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain existing websites and troubleshoot any issues related to functionality or design.
- Work with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal to manage website content effectively.
- Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Analyze website traffic using tools like Google Analytics 360 to inform design decisions and improve SEO strategies.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in web development, digital marketing, and design technologies.
Skills
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of digital design principles including typography, layout design, visual design, and interaction design.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) for creating assets.
- Familiarity with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects for enhancing user interactions.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and best practices for online shopping experiences.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards to ensure inclusivity in web design.
- Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma or Axure for effective communication of ideas.
- Experience with responsive web design techniques to ensure compatibility across devices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from web analytics tools to drive decisions.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as MySQL, SQL, Dynamo, or Node.js is a plus.
