The Amatriot Group is seeking a Front-End Developer to support the modernization of benefits claims processing systems for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a long-term, fully remote position supporting a high-impact federal mission to improve Veterans’ access to their records through a centralized application redesign.

Key Responsibilities:

• Redesign and implement UI components for a centralized VA records processing application
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular and React frameworks
• Ensure application responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility in accordance with Section 508 compliance standards
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and product owners in an Agile team setting
• Contribute to UI/UX enhancements with a focus on usability, consistency, and performance
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
• Support integration with APIs and Python-based back-end systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs, performance bottlenecks, and user experience issues

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust clearance
• Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience, particularly in federal or enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with both Angular and React
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with Python in a front-end/backend collaborative setting
• Experience with 508 compliance and accessible design best practices
• Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for UI mockups
• Experience developing front-end applications that consume RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of DevSecOps environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Previous involvement in large-scale legacy system modernizations
