You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a WordPress site, ensuring the site is optimized for performance and SEO. Responsibilities

1. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites according to client specifications.
2. Collaborate with designers and other developers to create responsive and visually appealing web interfaces.
3. Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings.
4. Utilize frameworks such as Bootstrap to ensure mobile responsiveness across all devices.
5. Write clean, maintainable code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
6. Integrate third-party APIs and services using SOAP when necessary.
7. Manage server configurations and deployments using tools like Ansible.
8. Participate in system architecture discussions to improve site performance and scalability.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites promptly.
10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

1. Proficiency in WordPress development with a strong understanding of the platform's architecture.
2. Experience with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
3. Familiarity with MVC design patterns and server-side scripting languages such as Python.
4. Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques to optimize website content effectively.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
6. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients seamlessly.
7. A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects is highly desirable.
8. Ability to interact with founders and marketing leads.
9. Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and bring ideas to the table.
