As we continue to rapidly grow, we have an opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our new operation at Taylor Farms Southern California as a Production Associate, located in Ontario, California.

The Production Associate will be responsible for following all production policies and procedures to support the start-up of this new operation. This individual will work in a team environment and will report to the Production Supervisor.

Status: Hourly, Fulltime

Days of the Week Needed: Monday – Friday, weekends and holidays as needed

Shifts:

• 1st 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
• 2nd 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM, .25 shift Pay Differential
• 3rd 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM, .50 shift Pay Differential

Work Hours: 8 hours possible OT

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties
• Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production.
• Stand at packing lines to observe and test packets of finished goods
• Keep up with the speed of the packing machine.
• Package finished product into crates.
• Stack full crates (30-40 lbs) on pallets.
• Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
• Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized.
• Use squeegee, brush, and broom to clean room for CIP.
• Other duties as assigned.

Environment:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Hair and beard net, gloves, safety shoes, bump cap, smocks
• Chemical Exposure: Cleaning Supplies and Food Allergens
• Temperature: Refrigerated 37 degrees fahrenheit

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to able to bend twist, stoop, squat, and pivot.
• Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
