Position Overview

In this role you will be creating recipes to be featured in our food blog. You will be responsible for creating step-by-step guides that include simple shopping lists, cooking instructions, and cooking images. This is a part-time, on-site position at our home office in Citrus Heights, CA. If selected for this role you will be one of the first core team members on our content team. You will have the opportunity to develop professionally and grow a department within MealPro from the ground up - a huge opportunity.

Daily Tasks

Create step-by-step recipes to be featured on our blog.
Take compelling recipe images.
Write, edit and proofread recipe instructions.
Maintain high productivity levels and ensures that publishing schedules are kept within timeline.
Take part in our marketing meetings.

What You Bring to the Table

You're knowledgeable and passionate about various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and the industry's standard practices and trends.
Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
Excellent aesthetic judgment .
Photoshop editing ability preferred but not required.
