Full-time future growth position for an experienced personal fitness trainer who is also interested in becoming a certified functional nutritionist at our Huntington Valley studio.

Qualifications

• Personal training certification and proven experience required
• B.S. in an exercise-related field required [please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement]
• First aid training and CPR certification
• Flexible schedule is an absolute must for this position
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Impeccable customer service and client focus
• Strong working knowledge of anatomy and exercise biomechanics
• Enthusiastic and passionate about fitness and health
• Physical ability to perform exercises for long periods of time
• Excitement about becoming professionally trained to provide nutritional counseling services using EPT’s curriculum

Expectations

There is a duality to this position:

1. Initially provide individualized personal training services to EPT clients

2. Become proficient in providing nutrition counseling using EPT’s materials, philosophy and curriculum within one year of employment

• Prescribe, monitor and progress clients exercise programs
• Participate in the initial evaluations with David Trumbore PT, DPT
• Detailed charting and record-keeping for each client
• Must obtain CFNP credentials (Certified Functional Nutrition Professional) within three months of employment. Paid training provided.
• Participate and become proficient in all mentoring following acquisition of CFNP in order to provide nutrition counseling services within one year of employment
• Attend and fully participate in staff meetings, team trainings, journal club and client review sessions
• Prompt and professional interaction with all clients and team members
• Strong work ethic with the desire to grow professionally
