Job Description:

This is an open application for our Executive Partner (Copilot) role. You're not applying for one fixed seat. You're applying to join VentureCopilot and be matched with a founder whose work, pace, and goals fit you.

You won't be a assistant. You'll be a Copilot.

At VentureCopilot, we connect the sharpest operators across the Middle East and North Africa with founders building fast-growing companies around the world.

As a Copilot, you work directly with a founder as their right hand. You own the calendar, the follow-ups, the projects, and the moving pieces that keep a business running, so the person you support can focus on growth. This is judgment work, not task work.

Think of it as two roles in one: the day-to-day command of an executive assistant and the ownership of a project manager. Master both and you're on the direct path to Chief of Staff, which is exactly where this role is built to take you.

Who you'll work with

Our founders are consultants in tech and marketing, podcasters, and lean teams scaling fast. They're small enough that your work has visible impact from week one, and ambitious enough that there's always more to grow into. They aren't looking for help on a one-off project. They want a long-term partner who grows with them.

Role Overview

As an Executive Partner (Copilot), you're the operational backbone for the founder you support. You blend executive support with operational coordination, acting as the central hub that keeps communication, tasks, and projects moving forward.

The right person is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable managing up to senior leadership. You thrive in fast-moving environments, anticipate needs, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks across systems, meetings, and workflows.

Your Impact

  1. Streamline your business leader's workflows so their time and priorities are protected
  2. Maintain operational visibility across every task, project, and commitment
  3. Support faster, better decision-making
  4. Improve productivity by keeping systems and dashboards organized
  5. Strengthen accountability and alignment across the team

Tasks

Every founder is different, so the exact mix flexes once you're matched.

A typical Copilot's work breaks down roughly like this:

Executive Support & Administrative Management — ~35%

  1. Manage your founder's calendar, scheduling, and daily priorities across time zones
  2. Coordinate travel logistics: flights, accommodations, transport, and meetings
  3. Organize internal and external meetings
  4. Handle professional and occasional personal administrative tasks
  5. Keep the founder's schedule aligned with what matters most

Operational Coordination & Task Management — ~30%

  1. Act as the central coordinator for key tasks and projects
  2. Track priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across the team
  3. Follow up with people to make sure commitments get done
  4. Spot blockers and risks early, and escalate proactively
  5. Maintain operational visibility so the team stays aligned and productive

Systems & Workspace Management — ~20%

  1. Maintain and optimize the founder's workspace (Notion, ClickUp, or similar)
  2. Track project updates, task ownership, and company-wide priorities
  3. Keep documentation and workflows current as the business evolves
  4. Support the founder in maintaining a clear operational dashboard

Meeting & Information Management — ~10%

  1. Turn meeting discussions into structured, owned tasks
  2. Join calls to capture action items and summarize key outcomes
  3. Brief the founder on takeaways, priorities, and next steps

Team Enablement & Operational Support — ~5%

  1. Facilitate team access to the founder for decisions and approvals
  2. Help with onboarding logistics for new team members
  3. Support process improvements as the company grows

This is a long-term role

We place Copilots with founders who want to build a real working relationship over years, not weeks. If you're after a quick project or a stopgap, this isn't it. If you want to grow with one team, earn the trust of one founder, and build a career as their go-to person, this is exactly it.
