Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC seeks an Executive Director in New York, New York

Pricing and marketing interest rate structured and derivative products with focus on institutional clients. Creating asset side solutions including yield enhancement, structured notes, special purpose vehicle (SVP) repacks, hybrids and credit-linked notes (CLN). Creating liability driven solutions including derivative hedging, cash-flow matching portfolio optimization and forwards. Optimization of bank capital and resource optimization.

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $300,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related degree and six (6) years of experience in the position offered or six (6) years as a Vice President, Associate, Analyst, or a related role in the finance field. Requires six (6) years of experience with: Risk management for exotic options; Product development for interest rate trading business; Bond repackaging (SPV) structuring, pricing, and origination; Interest rate modeling and derivative pricing; Modeling in Excel, VBA, and Bloomberg; Derivative valuation with analytical method and Monte Carlo simulations; Statistical Analysis including time series; Cross-border financial regulation, capital and solvency framework; Global interest rate products and market specificity in the European Union and the U.S.; Counterparty risk, collateral management, and complex Credit Support Annex (CSA) pricing; and Working with U.S. and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) institutional accounts.
