Job Description

MarVista Entertainment (MVE) , a FOX Entertainment Company, is a leading global entertainment studio, producing and distributing a variety of content across the world. With a library showcasing nearly 2,500 hours of content, and with an average of 80 new movies per year added to the company’s development and distribution pipeline, MarVista is one of the largest suppliers of movies to the worldwide marketplace. MarVista has an expansive distribution footprint spanning more than 125 global territories and is a preeminent programming partner to major streamers and media companies, including Netflix, Hulu, Discovery+, Tubi, Disney Networks, Amazon Prime, WarnerMedia , Lifetime, Hallmark Channel, NBC Universal, OWN, Nickelodeon, BET and other Viacom Networks, as well as key international platforms . We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support our CEO.

FOX Entertainment Global (FEG) is responsible for overseeing the global, multi-platform sales and distribution of intellectual property, owned and produced by FOX Entertainment and its growing portfolio of business units including Fox Alternative Entertainment, MarVista Entertainment, Fox Entertainment Studios, TMZ, Tubi, Bento Box and Studio Ramsay Global as well as, premium content acquired from outside producers. We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support our EVP , CFO and Head of Marketing .

This individual is organized, able to identify priorities, has a flexible mindset, an effective communicator, and handles confidential information with discretion in a fast-paced environment. MarVista and FEG will consider applicants for both opportunities.

a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

• Answer phones, route calls, take messages, and maintain detailed phone logs
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments for the CEO, as well as greet guests in person on arrival to our Plaza offices
• Prepare and process expense reports for assigned executives
• Manage and schedule domestic and international travel
• Create presentations and documents using PowerPoint, Excel & Microsoft Word
• Act as liaison with other internal departments and external contacts to execute assignments and represent the company in a professional and efficient manner
• Keep current on company projects, events, and issues and provide updates to supervisor
• Serve as back-up to other administrative assistants when necessary
• Assist with departmental projects and events as needed
• Maintain office in good standing, including reception area, conference rooms, and collaborative workspaces, which includes ordering supplies, restocking, and taking maintenance requests
• Provide personal assistance on various projects and activities

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 1-3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant
• Team-player who can operate effectively a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly to changing business needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication and follow-up skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
• Office coverage requires extended work hours – must be available to work overtime

• Conversational or fluency in Spanish (speaking or written)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $20.00-26.00 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
