Ground Up Construction Recruiting has partnered with a local heavy civil contractor in Sioux Falls, SD that specializes in earthmoving and underground utilities on their search for an Estimator.

They have 150 employees, 300+ pieces of heavy equipment, and do around $50M in revenue each year. They have a team-focused culture that stays involved in the community, prioritizes family, and only works in the Sioux Falls area (no travel). Integrity trumps everything for them.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of project management experience in civil construction. With your eye for detail, ability to stay organized, and strong communication skills, you'll achieve great success in this position.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary between $90k-$130k (depending on experience)
• Unlimited PTO
• Bonus (typically around 10% of your salary)
• Company truck + fuel (on-site fuel storage)
• Medical, dental & vision insurance (company pays about 90%)
• 401k + 3% match

Job Duties:

• Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine scope of work
• Manage multiple civil constructions projects; including the cost, billing, plan changes, submittals, and change orders associated to the projects
• Facilitate the bidding process with vendors and material suppliers
• Participate in the planning and estimate review meetings and job progress meetings
• Perform site review during planning and project execution
• Accumulate, document, and evaluate data on construction costs and procedures for use in future projects
