Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our team. As an Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating real estate transactions by managing the escrow process from start to finish. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of loan origination and escrow procedures. Duties: - Manage the entire escrow process for real estate transactions, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and reviewed - Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and agents to gather required information and resolve any issues that may arise - Prepare and review escrow instructions, settlement statements, and other related documents - Conduct title searches and review title reports to identify any liens or encumbrances that may affect the transaction - Calculate prorated taxes, insurance premiums, and other fees as necessary - Coordinate the signing of documents by all parties involved in the transaction - Disburse funds according to instructions and ensure all financial obligations are met - Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Escrow Officer or similar role in the financial services industry - Strong knowledge of loan origination, underwriting, and escrow procedures - Familiarity with TILA (Truth in Lending Act), Fair Housing regulations, and other relevant laws and regulations - Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in using escrow software systems and MS Office Suite We offer competitive compensation packages including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
