Primary Services is excited to announce the ERP Developer role for a large and rapidly expanding client. This role is for the functional owner of a complex ERP environment, supporting over 30 legal entities and ongoing acquisitions. The ERP Developer will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, scalability, and continuous improvement, while acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical resources.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment from a functional perspective.
- Provide day-to-day system support, troubleshoot user issues, and address workflow challenges.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of inbound system requests.
- Lead ERP onboarding and integration efforts for newly acquired entities.
- Support full lifecycle implementations, including UAT, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Gather and translate business requirements from finance and operations teams into system solutions.
- Oversee system configuration and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with a dedicated developer on integrations, enhancements, and scalable solutions.
- Ensure consistency and standardization across a growing multi-entity structure.
- Mentor and guide to technical resources supporting the ERP environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proven experience supporting multi-entity organizations, preferably in acquisition-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience with ERP implementations, including UAT and go-live support.
- Strong understanding of finance and operations workflows within ERP systems.
- Experience managing system configurations and business process improvements.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations and working alongside development resources.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Experience with data migration, system testing, and user training processes.
