Field Services Job Description

Adirondack Environmental Services, Inc., a full service analytical testing firm. Adirondack is rapidly growing and looking to add talented professionals to our team. We are presently seeking an Environmental Field Service Technician in Albany, New York. The qualified individuals should be detail oriented, have environmental sampling experience and be capable of independent field work. Bachelor’s Degree in science is preferred however, experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Essential responsibilities and duties include:

• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Provide clients with high-quality and professional customer service.
• Observant and detail oriented.
• Above average communication skills.
• A pro-active approach to problem solving.
• Records field notes for each specific task performed.
• Must be capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Handles other related duties assigned by the Field Service Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred however, experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
• Occasional, but not constant evening & weekend work possible.

Preferred

• HAZWOPER training
• Asbestos Air Tech certification
• TWIC certification
• Fit Tested
