The Job:

We are seeking an experienced, nimble, and diligent copywriter who can adapt to writing a wide range of elements for a growing edtech brand. This copywriting position is for a talented writer to help us write content for email campaigns, including subject lines, headlines and body copy. The right candidate should be able to work with our analytics team to understand optimal performance and adapt their copy choices toward an optimized response rate. A fundamental understanding of the purpose and value of copywriting for both brand and direct marketing to achieve brand engagement and user conversion is necessary. 

Sports interest and/or experience is not a requirement, but a sports-like competitive nature and teammate mentality is.

Responsibilities: 

• Write in Versus brand voice and tone.
• Write for specific Versus audience segments.
• Write email subject lines and body copy based on specific promotional campaigns or events.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams on email campaign ideas and execution.
• Timely delivery of assignments for campaigns and projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and deadlines.
