The ElectricalInstaller is part of Tesla’s Energy Field Operations team. As a skilled memberof the team, the Electrical Installer will help lead the installations ofresidential PV solar systems, Solar Roof, battery storage, and EV wall connectors.The ideal candidate will provide electrical expertise that will contribute tothe overall success of installing Tesla’s energy products. All necessarytraining, tools and equipment will be provided, including a company vehicle forsome positions. 

• Complete residentialMain Panel Upgrades (MPU) 
• Work with peers andleadership to evaluate job requirements and cost 
• Diagnose andtroubleshoot electrical component and system issues 
• Lead efforts on safework practices for the Field Operations team 
• Deliver exceptionalcustomer service throughout the process by educating customers about theproduct(s) and offering real-time updates on job status 
• Document and updatejob status in the company database 
• Attend trainingsessions and weekly team meetings on new products, installation methodology andsafety 
• Perform other relatedduties, as assigned 

Requirements

• Ability to work inextreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.) 
• Position may requireworking at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs 
• Capable of performingrepetitious duties, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods oftime 
• Must meet all OSHAstandards for working at heights including: 
• Ability to climb andutilize equipment on site including various ladders rated for 325lbs. 
• Must meet OSHA fallprotection standards for at height work limited at 310lbs.  
• Standard1926.502(d)(16)(v): OSHA Regulation
• Must be able to meetequipment standards for fall protection (harness, anchor, ropes, etc.) with amaximum capacity of 310bs. 
• Experience usingbasic hand and power tools 
• Basic computer skillsrequired 
• Must have excellentwritten and verbal communication skills 
• Must have excellentcustomer service skills 
• Excellent attendanceis crucial for the team to achieve success 
• Ability to work wellwith others in a collaborative team environment 
• Must be able to successfullypass pre-employment screening requirements 
• Ability to safelyhandle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panelboards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofingmaterials, etc 
• Understanding of NECcodes
