General Summary:

Make a major contribution to the rapidly growing consumer facing marketplace with Liquidity Services. In this role you will be managing several online channels with an ever-changing product mix sourced directly from major retailers and manufacturers. Your analytics and market knowledge will drive decisions on channel allocation when recommercing back to consumers directly across an expansive platform of B2C channels.

You will have the opportunity to make critical decisions regarding pricing, marketing strategies, promotions, and other key areas to maintain sales velocity for thousands of items across all product categories. This role demands a highly analytical skillset as the daily activities include building complex models to understand our product offering and regularly adjust our strategy accordingly on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and maintenance of online stores, promotion strategies, and associated inventory optimization across many sales channels. The goal is to maximize recovery and velocity and how you influence that is how success is measured
  • Build and maintain complex models to track KPIs across our entire product catalog. Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, and database programs such as SQL and/or Access as needed to effectively create and interpret reports
  • Manage product catalogs to ensure accurate product descriptions to maximize the customer experience
  • Coordinate large scale initiatives and execution with site operations and customer support.
    • Engage client API’s when available to make product available faster and develop tools to drive listing speed and accuracy
  • Design and implement measurements to analyze program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed channel programs
  • Contribute to a variety of Social Media marketing campaigns to boost storefront visibility.

Qualifications:

Education/ Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience working on a consumer based, ecommerce website
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Successful examples of channel management and inventory optimization

Skills:

  • Possess a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. SQL experience a plus
  • SQL experience is relevant for product development, but not required
  • Experience in multi-channel B2C sales and management of a product catalog using proprietary software or 3rd party software such as Channel Advisor
  • Familiarity with PPC advertising and use of Display & Search Network advertisements:
    o Amazon Advertising (aka AMS)
    o Google AdWords
