Our primary focus is producing supplies for the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automotive industries. Our main regional headquarters and warehousing distribution center was re-located in 2020 to a brand-new state of the art facility in Glendale Heights, IL.

Position Summary: The eCommerce Content Specialist is a key player in the content management of online merchandise. This role encompasses onboarding new product content on different eCommerce platforms, monitoring, and maintaining the ecommerce catalog content across these platforms, and discontinuing items at the end of their cycles.

Essential Functions

· Liaison efficiently and timely with internal departments to obtain all relevant content for the launch of new SKUs.

· Work cross-functionally with inventory and purchasing to ensure inventory alignment with the launch timeline.

· Publish all content on relevant ecommerce platforms utilizing feeds, uploads, etc.

· Confirm that all deliverables are completed and uploaded without errors.

· Monitor, maintain, and update catalogs across all relevant ecommerce platforms.

· Generate reports and pass on relevant information or concerns to the correct teams.

· Ensure content and data is easily trackable, organized and stored correctly.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in eCommerce content management and optimization is highly valued.

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred.

· Familiarity with SEO best practices.

· Knowledge of content management systems, infographics, keywords research, and marketing collaterals.

· Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Home Depot IDM, Shopify, Wayfair Partner Home, Walmart Seller Center, or Retail Link preferred.

· CPG experience preferred.

· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

· Self-starter and able to develop a methodical approach to this work.

· Flexible and able to switch priorities when needed and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Proactive and solution oriented with strong sense of urgency to tackle content upload challenges.

· Ability to understand a problem, analyze it, and corrective actions.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal team members as well as external platform partners.

· Advanced writing and computer skills.

· Proficiency in Excel and Word required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,588.00 - $59,012.00 per year
