We're looking for an upbeat and enthusiastic professional with a great personality to join our team.

 

Vintner's Collective | Napa Valley is a group of small, exclusive, family-owned wineries with extraordinary wines, tiny productions, and renowned vineyards. We're located in Napa's landmark Pfeiffer Building, where we offer our guests an unparalleled yet unpretentious tasting experience.

 

The direct-to-consumer position offers great benefits, including medical and dental insurance, vision, and a Simple IRA with a generous employer match. We provide excellent compensation with growth potential in the form of base salary, bonuses, commission, and gratuity. The salary range for this position is $ 75K — 85K.

 

Responsibilities:

This position's key responsibilities are wine sales in person and direct-to-consumer and customer service. These fall under the umbrella of providing an exceptional guest experience, telling the Vintner's Collective story, and building relationships. A great sense of humor and the ability to create an upbeat and fun atmosphere is essential.

  • Sell wine and memberships in the Tasting Room, by phone, and through email.
  • Listen carefully and respond to customers' preferences and needs.
  • Be part of a fast-paced, gracious team culture focused on providing extraordinary guest experiences.
  • Host guests for private VIP Tastings.
  • Aid with the daily preparation for all tastings, including but not limited to set-up and breakdown
  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, text, or written correspondence.
  • Maintain exceptional Tasting Room standards, including overall cleanliness.

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the wine industry and viticulture
  • Prior hospitality or sales experience (3-4 years)
  • B.A./B.S. degree desired
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A good sense of humor
