Job Description:
  • To work with project, maintenance, electrical and process engineers to create and or/revise mechanical, structural, electrical and process drawings.
  • The ability to create and/or revise drawings from computation, sketches and/or verbal directions using AutoCAD 2024.
  • The development/revision of piping (plans; isometrics), equipment layouts and Engineering Flow diagrams (EFD’s) is highly desired. Involves field measurements and the gathering of data to create or revise drawings.
  • AutoCAD expertise (V8 2018 or higher)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of Excel and Word

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Excellent CADD operating skills.
  • Surveying and field verification technique knowledge.
  • Understanding of mechanical and civil design practices and regulations related to system design, equipment layout and Mechanical.
  • Previous manufacturing experience - particularly with process-related equipment (i.e., pumps, piping and heat exchangers, etc.).

Capable of working independently

Description of Specific Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This position is in a manufacturing environment that requires:
  • The ability to ascend and descend stairs on a periodic basis.
  • The ability to access all areas of the plant.
  • This position requires working the Muscatine Plant core business hours.
  • Extended hours and weekend work required when needed to support plant activities.
