We are seeking a talented and motivated Drafter/Designer to join our dynamic team! Duties

1. Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks.
2. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, fabricators, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate schematics and construction documents.
3. Create and modify civil and mechanical designs utilizing Civil 3D for civil infrastructure projects or Mechanical Design tools for mechanical components.
4. Produce precise drafting layouts for construction plans, schematics, and technical specifications ensuring compliance with industry standards.
5. Assist in visualizing projects through 2D animation techniques to communicate complex ideas effectively.
6. Support the review of design models for accuracy, consistency, and constructability before final submission.
7. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation to facilitate seamless project workflows.

Experience

1. Proven experience in drafting or designing within engineering, architecture or construction industries.
2. Proficiency with CAD software including SolidWorks rendering software.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
4. Experience creating schematics and technical drawings for construction or manufacturing projects.
5. Familiarity with rendering techniques for project presentations is a plus.
6. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate visual representations.
