Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy:

1. Lead IT and IS departments, developing strategic initiatives to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
2. Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.

Software Engineering & Development:

1. Use your coding expertise in RPG/ILE RPG, CLP, Visual Basic, MS Visual Studio, PHP, and Python to guide development, troubleshooting, and ensure best practices in software solutions.
2. Oversee software engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Infrastructure & Systems Management:

1. Manage IT systems, network infrastructure, and internal software applications to ensure uptime, performance optimization, and security.
2. Oversee systems integration and the implementation of new technologies to meet business needs.

Team Development:

1. Lead and mentor IT teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
2. Manage recruitment, staffing, and performance evaluations within the IT department.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management:

1. Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard company data and systems.
2. Stay updated on industry trends and threats to continuously strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Budgeting & Resource Allocation:

1. Manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while meeting company objectives.
2. Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, and technologies to enhance operations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
2. 8+ years of experience in IT management and software engineering.
3. Proven experience with RPG/ILE RPG, CLP, Visual Basic, MS Visual Studio, PHP, and Python.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in RPG/ILE RPG, CLP, Visual Basic, MS Visual Studio, PHP, and Python.
2. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, and systems integration.
3. Familiarity with database management, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise software systems.

Leadership & Communication:

1. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:

Pay: $213,791.00 - $245,000.00 per year
