The Role: Director of Software Development

The S&P Global Marketplace is the singular catalogue to discover and explore the datasets and solutions from across all S&P Global divisions, along with curated third-party data that’s been linked to our core data offerings. The platform serves both our clients and internal users as they look to find the right data for their needs. Marketplace helps us present ourselves as ‘one S&P Global’ to the external market and continues to support our commercial organizations in driving data sales via our integrated delivery ecosystem.
After discovering the correct data for their needs through Marketplace, clients often require the ability to test and trial data in an efficient manner. The S&P Global Marketplace Workbench, launched in 2021, serves this need. Workbench is a web-based notebook environment that allows users to test and experiment with datasets from S&P Global and curated third-party providers in a secure environment without a time consuming, technical set up, utilizing the language of their choice (Python, R, Scala, SQL). Workbench provides starter and analytical notebooks for each dataset so clients can start their evaluation and analysis immediately.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,900 - $250,300. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
