At DEO, we provide elite coaching for the dental industry. Our members expect excellence, and that begins with our curriculum. We are looking for a Director of Learning Design to lead the architecture of our training materials.
This isn't a "writing" job. It is a "Synthesis" job. You will be the bridge between our world-class coaches and our graphic design team. Your goal? To take complex, high-level business and clinical strategies and transform them into visually stunning, "easy-to-digest" training assets that drive real results.
The Three Pillars of Your Role
1. The Architect (Extraction & Logic)
You will sit down with our Lead Coaches—the best in the business—and extract the "gold" from their brains. You’ll lead the discovery interviews, map out the information hierarchy, and build the structural wireframes for every workbook, slide deck, and tool we produce.
2. The Art Director (Visual Leadership)
You don’t have to be the one pushing pixels, but you must be the one directing them. You will manage our two in-house graphic designers, providing them with clear creative briefs and wireframes. You are the "Quality Control" gatekeeper, ensuring every asset meets our premium brand standards.
3. The Iteration Lead (Verification)
You are responsible for the feedback loop. You’ll meet with coaches to verify that the training captures their expertise perfectly, and you’ll pivot quickly to make adjustments based on their feedback and member needs.
You are a Master Synthesizer. You can listen to a messy, 60-minute "brain dump" from a coach and turn it into a clean, 3-step framework.
You have "The Eye." You understand white space, typography, and hierarchy. You know the difference between "good" and "world-class" design.
You are a Strategic Partner. You aren't afraid to push back on a coach to simplify a concept for the sake of the learner’s experience.
You are Detail-Obsessed. You find the typos, the misaligned margins, and the logical gaps that everyone else misses.
Experience: 5+ years in Instructional Design, Learning Experience (LX) Design, or Creative Direction within an educational or agency setting.
Tools: Proficiency in Google Suite & Canva. Hubspot experience is a plus.
Portfolio: You must be able to show us examples of how you take raw information and "wireframe" it into a finished, branded product.
We move fast, we think big, and we value the "Learning Experience" as a core product, not an afterthought. You will have the autonomy to shape the visual and educational future of our brand.
